Anzac dictation

Anzac day is on the 25th of April. Anzac day is a day to remember the Soldiers who fought for  our country In war.  Anzac stands for Australia,New zealand army corp.                                           

 

The New Zealand and  Australian  Soldiers set out to capture Gallipoli in 1915.  Many  brave Soldiers went to far away  Countries to fight in the World Wars.

 

On ANZAC day people wear red poppies To show they remember. This is because  red poppies grow on Flanders  Fields when many Soldiers die.

 

On ANZAC day people gather at  dawn. They stand around a memorial and say “Lest we forget”.
